Career Night
Please register for career night online at http://tiny.cc/CareerNight .It is open to 7th & 8th graders.  It is on Thursday, November 19 from 6:00- 8:30 at Brooke Point High School.  The career unit for 8th grade will begin on October 13th.  I will be in the classroom presenting 2 day lessons on Holland's Career Codes and all students will take a career assessment.
Welcome Back!
I am enjoying seeing everyone again as I do my classroom visits this week.  I encourage you to think about the poem we read together in class " The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost.  As middle schoolers, it is easier sometimes to follow the popular road, but sometimes it is not the road that is best for you.   It is impossible to erase choices that you make, so make them good ones!!
